Stormy Mondays take their name from a blues classic ‘They call it Stormy Monday’ by T Bone Walker (1947). They are a Spanish band who began on the streets of Oviedo in 1991.
They are the only Spanish band to have played at the Woodstock Festival and have also proudly jammed with Slash of Guns ‘n’ Roses fame! Very few bands can claim their music has been played in space, but this most amazing accomplishment has been achieved by Stormy Mondays! My family and I have just been to see Peter Pan at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre. I suspected we were in for a treat, but didn’t quite know what my 8 year old son would make of it, as this was his first pantomime experience
Being a massive Space fan, I was really looking forward to seeing them live, particularly as this was my first chance in twenty years!

Ajay Mathur is an Indian born Swiss singer/songwriter whose vocals have been compared to Don Henley and Tom Petty. He has been performing since the 70’s and has joined the likes of Jimmy Page and Don Cherry on stage.
Tumbler are a three membered band who come from Epsom. England and have been compared to The Kinks.
Following on from last year’s successful ten year anniversary shows, Fightstar appeared at Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall last night, performing tracks from previous albums and songs from their latest album, ‘Behind The Devil’s Back’.
Myself and my son went to see Shrek at the Wolverhampton Grand theatre and we had a great time.
Actor Dean Chisnall did an excellent job as Shrek as did Bronte Barbe as Princess Fiona. As Donkey, Idriss Kargbo seemed to gain confidence vocally as the performance went on and truly shone in the second half of the show. Relax Listen blend a fusion of many styles including rock, synth pop, jazz and classical. They tend to be catagorised as ‘Easy Listening’. Their latest album is a concept album based on dreaming and dreams. The font for the title cleverly emphasises REM (rapid eye movement) and this is just one of the original ideas from it. Here is my review (and some very interesting information on dreams from Relax Listen!):
